S ShelfScan

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This policy covers the ShelfScan Chrome extension and this website. ShelfScan is provided by Sözleşme Cepte, the data controller for the data described here.

ShelfScan collects the product IDs (ASINs) listed on the Amazon storefront pages you choose to scan and saves them to your ShelfScan account so you can export them. It never reads your Amazon account, orders or payment data. On Seller Running and Seller Flash it only fills in the ASIN lists you send there.

What we collect

  • Your account: email address, name (optional) and a hashed password.
  • For each scan you start: the storefront URL, seller ID, marketplace, store name you entered, and the ASINs found.
  • Credit purchases: the order ID and amount received from our payment provider (Shopier or Paddle). We never see card details.
  • A random installation identifier and anonymous usage counters (install, scans) to keep the extension working and improve it.
  • On the ShelfScan website only, and only if you allow advertising cookies: Meta Pixel page views and the sign-up, checkout and purchase events of your account (with a hashed email), so we can measure our ads. Nothing collected by the extension (scans, storefronts, ASINs) is ever shared for advertising.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and workspace, save your scans and let you export them (performance of our contract with you).
  • To process credit purchases and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
  • To keep the Service secure and working, and to prevent abuse of free credits (legitimate interest).
  • To measure our ads on this website, only if you allow advertising cookies (consent, which you can withdraw).

What we don't do

  • We do not sell or rent your data.
  • Nothing the extension collects (scans, storefronts, ASINs, extension sign-ins) is used or shared for advertising.
  • The extension does not read your Amazon account, orders, messages or payment data, and does not track your browsing history.

Service providers

  • Shopier (payment processing) — only when you buy a credit pack.
  • Paddle (payment processing, merchant of record) — only when you buy a credit pack in USD. We never see card details.
  • Meta Platforms (advertising measurement on the website) — only after you allow advertising cookies; you can decline in the cookie banner.

Paddle.com acts as Merchant of Record for USD orders and processes your payment details under its own privacy notice. We receive the order ID, amount, country and your email address, never your full card details.

Cookies

  • Session cookie (necessary): keeps you signed in to the dashboard.
  • Consent cookie (necessary): remembers whether you allowed advertising cookies.
  • Meta Pixel cookies (advertising): set only after you click Allow in the cookie banner.

Retention and deletion

Scans and account data are kept while your account exists. Order and invoice records are kept as long as accounting law requires. You can delete scans in your dashboard, and ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, KVKK or US state privacy laws) you can ask for access to, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict its processing. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days.
